Path of Mariam

Synopsis

Essa, a troubled widower, embarks on a pilgrimage from Basra to Karbala with his terminally ill daughter Mariam, searching for a miracle to cure her cancer. Amid millions of fellow pilgrims the two become separated, and haunted by guilt over leaving her behind, and alarmed by news of an attack near where he left her, Essa races against time to find her before it's too late.
